What are Litesport Programs?

First things first, let’s introduce you to our Litesport workout programs. These are curated collections of classes created by our expert trainers. Each program has a different focus, enabling you to take a more intentional step towards achieving your fitness goals. There are a variety of programs available—and at all levels, from beginner to advanced—so you can choose the one that best fits your interests, preferred trainers, schedule, and experience. Some programs are only available with a Premium membership, while others, like “Getting Started with Litesport,” are available to all Litesport subscribers.

Getting Started with Litesport

Our “Getting Started with Litesport” workout program is the first place we recommend you start if you’re new to Litesport or new to working out in VR. It features four beginner-level classes, each focusing on a different Litesport workout mode that you’ll come across in your training: Strength, Total Body, Mitt Drills, and Boxing. In each workout, you’ll get expert advice from trainer Anthony from start to finish. Here’s what to expect in each one:

Strength 101

This beginner-friendly Strength class is 10 minutes of biceps, shoulders, and quads. In this workout, you’ll use real dumbbells (or opt for bodyweight) to build a strong foundation. Who said you can’t get strong in VR?! The exercises in this class include three different types of bicep curls, suitcase and sumo squats, and neutral and open shoulder presses. You’ll end the class with a compound movement that combines them all together. But don’t worry if you’ve never done these before, Anthony walks you through it step-by-step. Throughout the class, he’ll help keep you on top of your form—performing the exercises alongside you so you can easily follow along. 

Intro to Total Body Workouts

This five-minute, two-song workout is an excellent introduction to Total Body. Throughout the class, trainer Anthony leads you through multiple rounds of body weight squats, standing marches, battle ropes, and speed bags. Foundation is key in this beginner-level class, so you can expect a full break-down of every single movement. After Anthony talks you through technique, you’ll get a chance to practice each exercise—and rack up points on the speed bag! Mirror Anthony from start to finish, and you’ll leave feeling confident to take on your next Total Body class. 

Mitt Drill 101

Ready to jump into Mitt Drills? Anthony’s got you covered with this 10-minute beginner-friendly introduction. He’ll start by walking you through your boxer stance and reviewing all six punches. Then, you’ll work through some simple punch combos as you familiarize yourself with the basics of front vs. back, high vs. low, flows vs. flurries, and offensive vs. defensive moves. Anthony breaks down every single punch, and as you’re practicing he’ll call out form corrections and encouragement. Before you know it, those jabs and crosses will start to feel like second nature! 

Boxing 101

In Boxing 101, you’ll get into the basics of trainer-led boxing classes as Anthony guides you through eight minutes of simple combos to get the ball rolling. After an introduction to the Liteshield and your boxing footwork and stance, you’ll get right into it throwing jabs, crosses, and uppercuts. You’ll also step away from the Liteshield to learn the difference between squats and ducks—two key moves you’ll find in many other Litesport workouts! Then, you’ll close it out with some basic boxing combos as you practice catching the beat and building your streak. Like all these “Getting Started with Litesport” classes, Anthony is with you the whole time, walking you through each duck, squat, and punch.
