Get to know Dillon

Dillon has always had a passion for movement, even before she stepped into the ring. After graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography, Dillon began her dancing career in New York City.

She’s performed for many performing artists and companies including Microsoft, MTV’s Total Request Live (TRL), Pibolous, Diavolo, Camille Trust, and Broadway Bares.

Not only is she an amazing dancer, but Dillon has experience teaching everything under the sun when it came to fitness classes including kickboxing, boxing, boot camp, dance, barre, cycling, pilates, and more. She even created her own fitness company in 2020 called “StraightUp with Dillon” where she focuses on combining fitness, mobility, and personal development.

With over eight years of fitness instruction experience and five years of training in boxing and Muay Thai, Dillon is a force to be reckoned with in the ring. And in the rare moments when she slows down, you can find her studying at Stony Brook University working on her Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

What to expect in Dillon’s classes

Dillon describes her classes as “fun, spicy, and groove-worthy” and we couldn’t agree more! Expect to get lost in the music as you step up to the challenge in the ring without taking yourself too seriously.

“I love boxing because it allows you to free yourself from the inner and outer voices of the world. Boxing challenges you on all levels whether it be mental, emotional, or physical — it pushes you through any fight.”

Dillon likes to focus on the “why” behind every movement, demonstrating proper boxing technique and form along the way. As a dancer and physical therapist in training, Dillon will help you improve your form, enhance your mobility, and build strength and power one class at a time.

Not only that, but she wants you to walk away stronger than you started and proud of what you’ve accomplished in the ring.

“Movement is life and it should make you feel good. If there is anything I would want for people to walk away from my classes with is a sense of pride and happiness.”
