Celebrate Pride with Litesport: One Week of Brand-New Workouts
June is here and that means it’s time to show our pride! And this year we’re sending our love to the LGBTQIA+ community with one whole week of song and sweat. That’s right, throughout the week of June 12 to the 18th we’re releasing brand-new, Pride-themed Punch Tracks and Trainer Classes in the Litesport app.
It’s a celebration of love for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, and all diverse gender and sexual identities as we recognize and celebrate the contributions members of this community have on the world today. Here’s how you can join us in the fun:
Pride Month Punch Tracks
We’re bringing back old favorites plus adding in a few new ones with the release of four Punch Tracks just in time for Pride. Here are the new tracks and their release dates on the Litesport app:
- June 12: "Not Strong Enough" by boygenius
- June 14: "King" by Years & Years
- June 16: "Easy" by Troye Sivan, Kacey Musgraves
- June 18: "Born This Way" by Lady Gaga
Brand-New Pride Month-Themed Trainer Classes
15 min Mixtape: Pride Edition with Trainer Aliyah
In this 15-minute trainer-led boxing workout, Trainer Aliyah gives a special shout-out to our LGBTQIA+ community with words of encouragement and high-energy music from allies and queer artists like Lady Gaga and Sam Smith. Throughout the class, expect to pick up the tempo with fun boxing combinations featuring uppercuts, flurries, double jabs, and more that build your power and speed. This workout is no breaks, all gas. Yet Aliyah keeps you going with non-stop action and motivation—encouraging you to get out of your head so you’re ready to say “yes” to the challenge.
Mitt Drill: 2 Song Mitt Drill Pop: Pride Edition with Trainer Lissa
Join Trainer Lissa for a 2 song Mitt Drill pop mix as you celebrate and work out to pride-empowering music including “I’m Ready” by Sam Smith and Demi Lovato and “Born This Way” by Lady Gaga. Expect to cover a lot of ground in this less-than-10-minute class. It starts with shorter boxing combinations and builds throughout both songs for a quick, fun, action-packed workout. Between the music and the workout, we guarantee you’ll find that fighter stance both mentally and physically.
3 Song Total Strength: Pride Edition with Trainer JD
Build your confidence, challenge your strength, and break a sweat with Trainer JD in this 3-song upper and lower body-focused, Pride-themed workout. You’ll start by targeting your legs with squats and deadlifts before transitioning to some arm work with bicep curls and overhead presses. And then you’ll repeat it all over again! But don’t worry because JD is there with you the whole time encouraging you to keep up the hard work while helping you focus on the correct form to avoid injury.
